What's "the Best" for a child?
We always hear from parents that "it is for the goodness of the child", or "we just want to give our child the best...." But what is meant by "the Best"?
When you are selecting "the Best" for your child, have you ever lower your point of view from an adult to a child? Do you just consider whether it helps to match with the current education system.
Have you ever think about what a child really need in his/her infant to toddler stage? Do you understand the importance of fulfilling his/her internal need? If you understand the internal need of your child more and how he/she learn, we believe you will be more open-minded to accept your child's behavior and know following the child to provide him/her "the Best".
Montessori Method of Education
The Montessori method is an educational method for children, based on theories of child development originated by Italian educator Maria Montessori in the late 19th and early 20th century.
The method is characterized by an emphasis on self-directed activity on the part of the child and clinical observation on the part of the teacher. It stresses the importance of adapting the child's learning environment to his or her developmental level, and of the role of physical activity in absorbing academic concepts and practical skills.
