| Montessori Educational method is the most widely adopted alternative educational method in the world. Montessori educational method is now regarded as a better educational method over the traditional one internationally. Recent researches in the USA (Dohrman 2003) and China have shown that the graduates from Montessori kindergartens or learning centres have better performances in public examination, especially in Math and Science. Montessori Education is also supported by, to name but a few, the founders of Google and Amazon, the English Royal Family; Bill and Hilary Clinton, Jean Piaget, Erik Erikson and Yo-Yo Ma. However, there are not many Hong Kong local schools or learning centres practicing complete Montessori Method of education. The reasons behind are multiple. Firstly, there is a shortage of qualified Montessori teachers in Hong Kong as there are no Montessori teacher training institutes in Hong Kong. Secondly, although most expatriates prefer Montessori education, local residence knows very little about the benefits of Montessori education.
