Dr. Maria Montessori believes that adults must first prepare themselves before they can guide children; therefore Infinity Children’s World emphasizes the importance of teacher training and parent education. In spite of differences in parents’ backgrounds, beliefs, and values, we believe that we can engage in respectful and constructive dialogues with parents regarding their children’s growth. In order to actualize children’s potential and support healthy mental development, parents need to have a more accurate understanding of children and provide an appropriate environment for them to flourish. The goal of our parent education classes is to increase parents understanding of Montessori educational approach and make its theories applicable in everyday life.













 

Our Parent Education Programmes —


Our courses are mainly offered in Cantonese and occasionally in English or Mandarin based on demand. They are usually held on Saturdays (full-day) in our Kowloon Tong campus, and the latest schedules will be posted on the website (homepage) a month in advance.

 

8-hr Parent Education Class

- Held once or twice per month

- Conducted in Cantonese; sometimes also available in English or Mandarin

- English classes are open to caregivers as well

 

30-hr & 60-hr Advanced Parent Education Course

- Held quarterly

- Only offered in Cantonese

 

Course Fees

One parent applying: Total course fee=HKD 1,000

Two parents applying: Total course fee=HKD 1,500

Two parents + one grandparent applying: Total course fee=HKD 1,600


*Special discount for expectant mothers (i.e., pregnant women)= $800

Secret of Infants (ages 0-3)
